There is nothing more important for an NGO to be told that they won the trust of their donors. That too when the evaluation is done by a reputed organization that is around for quite a while and carries significant clout in the corporate world, it's an icing on the cake.
We have been associated with Give (formerly known as 'GiveIndia') since 2011 and we feel so comfortable with our association that we don't even have our own payment gateway, but we use theirs for all our fundraising activities. Every year, they come up with something new and exciting. This year is no different. They started a program to evaluate NGO's for the trust worthiness and their transparency.
We applied and this is what Give is saying on their web site now: So far, they have evaluated 57000 NGO's and out of these only 253 have received 5 stars for the trust worthiness and a Gold badge for the transparency. For each NGO, there is a dedicated page to report about their findings about the NGO.
Give web site also states that Gold badge NGO's have been through the due diligence on48 parameters. Hope House has been adjudged as the five stars for trustworthiness and the gold badge for the transparency. We couldn't be prouder of this achievement.
We are supported by individual donors for our entire operations, and this is the least we could do to assure them that their hard-earned resources that they entrust us with are used judiciously and they don't have to take our word for it but a third party that put us through the rigor of diligence.
We say thanks to each and everyone of our donors for trusting and supporting us.
