Some adoptive children (especially the children that are adopted at an older age) go through such difficult growing up years that they carry a lot of baggage which requires special awareness and interventions to help them overcome.
No two adoptive children are same, so every parent has to learn to look at their child from their child's perspective to understand and address his/ her unique challenges. Below is the video that I made 4 years ago but issues remain the same, hence, I thought to reshare it.
