Do you know that there are two legislations govern adoptions in India? One is called as "Hindu #Adoption and Maintenance Act" (HAMA) which is a personal law and the other is called as "#Juvenile & #justice Ac. (JJ Act) which is a secular law.
Do you know the differences between these two acts? If you or anyone that you know of intending to adopt a child, knowing the differences between these two acts would be very important. A friend of mine had put this document together and hoping that it would be of some help to a few.
