Adoption from adoptees perspective

(Hosted by the Hope House as part of an Adoption Awareness Month)

Adoption journey can be unique and challenging to everyone beginning from adoptive parents, adoptees and the extended family.  Most often used guidelines in adoption journey are developed by adoption advocates but rarely from adoptees.  Recognizing this deficit, Hope House is hosting four young ladies who are adoptees themselves to answer adoptive family's questions.  If you're an adoptive parent and have questions, please register yourself to join this virtual workshop.

Who should attend:

  • Adoptive parents with young adoptive children at home and want to ask a question to adoptees anonymously.

Who shouldn't attend:

  • Those who just started this journey (or contemplating of starting) and not completed the adoption yet.

  • Those who have completed the adoption but have no question(s) to ask.
